Rules for Specials:
Please request these specials when making your booking otherwise you will be charged normal rates.
Bookings already made do not qualify for these specials.
Specials end on the date stated and will not be extended.
Please note all rates above exclude agent commissions.
Rates are quoted in South African Rand and are inclusive
of VAT and Breakfast. Rates are subject to confirmation and availability and
may change without prior notice. Reservations are subjected to terms and
conditions on check-in.
We do not pay third parties
for any other services on your behalf. If monies are deposited into our account
incorrectly we do not refund until cleared with our bank
CHILD POLICY:
Child rates: Children under 10 pay 50% of adult rate -
when sharing parents room.
Children over 10 pay full adult rate - in their own
room or when sharing with parents.
CHECK-IN/OUT TIMES:
Check -in from 14h00 - 19h00
Check-out 11h00 - late check
outs are only possible if rooms are empty the following day. You are
welcome to have a cup of tea and relax in our lounge or we can hold your
luggage until you are ready to depart.
Late arrivals: Late
arrivals after 1 pm on weekends and 7pm on weekdays must advise us
of your expected time of arrival so we can have staff on duty to check you
in.
Early arrivals: You are
welcome to leave your luggage at the guest house while you go out and
explore or you are welcome to have a cup of tea and relax in our lounge
until your room is ready.
MINIMUM STAY:
Minimum days stay over Xmas is normally 4 days unless we
have 1 night gaps.
Minimum days stay over Easter is 3-4 days because of the
Two Ocean Marathon held at that time in Cape Town unless we have 1 night gaps.
ACCEPTED MEANS OF PAYMENT:
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Diners and American Express
credit/debit cards and cash. Travelers Cheques by arrangement. We may not
accept any foreign currency.
WE HAVE A STRICT
CANCELLATION AND NON ARRIVAL POLICY - PLEASE READ IT BEFORE CONFIRMING THE
BOOKING:
DEPOSIT TO CONFIRM BOOKING:
Deposit = 100% deposit for 7 days or less.
For more than 8 days a 50% deposit is required with 100%
payment due before arrival.
We require the deposit/full payment to be paid by EFT
(banking details on request) or you need to furnish us with full credit
card details to confirm the booking. Credit Card No. with expiry date and CCV
no.
Like all Hotels and Guest Houses we have a strict Cancellation
policy to protect us against cancellations. We only have a few rooms and cannot
make up business lost. We have a live calendar with Nightsbridge which connects
too many websites around the world giving instant online availability. Once a
room is booked it is no longer available to sell on these websites. If
cancelled for whatever reason you will be liable for full payment whether we
have a deposit from you or not. Verbal and email bookings are binding as a
confirmation of the booking. Companies/Travel agencies operating on a Bill back
basis will also be liable to pay cancellation fees if cancelled whether we have
a voucher or not.
Please make sure
you or clients are aware of our policy before accepting our
accommodation at our establishment.
Cancellations more than 30 days prior to visit forfeit
50% of the total booking quote.
Cancellations between 30 and 15 days prior to the visit
forfeit 75% of the total booking quote.
Cancellations between 14 and 1 days prior to the visit
forfeit 100% of the total booking quote.
For non-arrival/no show/premature departure 100% of total
booking quoted is payable.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Guests agree on behalf of themselves and the members of
their parties that neither the establishment, its owners, employees nor agents
shall be responsible for any injury or death of any person or the loss or
destruction of or damage to any property upon the premises, whether arising
from fire, theft or any cause and by whomsoever caused or arising from the
negligence (gross or otherwise) or wrongful act of any person in the employment
of the guesthouse.
Any damage caused by guests to property and premises due
to bad behavior or carelessness, or keys lost and replaced for security
reasons will be for the guests account.
