The shuttle service to/from the Airport costs R280 one way.  (add R35 for third person travelling and an extra R70 for collection/drop off after 9pm and before 9am) You are welcome to contact Archie directly to make a booking.  Please pay Archie directly for your transport.

There are many local taxi's near the Guest house and they charges += R12.00 a Km.

PRIVATE TOURS

Archie from Africa Classic Tours is also a registered tour guide and offers daily tours around Cape Town and as far as The Garden Route. His tours are conducted on a private basis as opposed to scheduled tours by tour operators. We make suggestions based on our experience and the tour is constructed around your preferences.

We will help you plan your visit to Cape Town and surrounding areas by suggesting tours and interesting places to visit. These tours must be booked in advance. Tours range from scenic drives, trips to the Winelands, Cape Peninsula, Hermanus (Whale viewing), Robben Island (booking essential) or further afield for Safari's or as far as The Garden Route. Boat and helicopter trips, shark cage diving and other extreme sports etc. can also be booked.

Things like departure times, routes, shopping, Wine tasting, lunches etc. can be flexible as we go.  Group tours are also available and can be booked the night before.

DINING AT RIVERSONG GUESTHOUSE

Inri and her staff are very proud of the "AA Fabulous Food Award" they received in 2008 for their tasty breakfasts and beautiful fruit plates that are pieces of art in their own right.

A full breakfast served in the dining room or in your room. We start with a "the famous fruit plate" and fruit juice which is a big hit with all our guests. Our buffet offers a selection of cereals, yoghurts, cheeses, cold meats and freshly baked muffins, toast basket and preserves. End off with bacon, mushrooms and grilled tomato and your choice of eggs (fried, scrambled, poached, boiled, omelets or French toast).

Percolated coffee and a selection of teas are served with our breakfast. Mr. Delivery and Butler's Pizza menu's are available in your room should you wish to relax and order in. You are welcome to use the microwave oven in the main kitchen to warm TV dinners. Enjoy a variety of restaurants in the area that are walking distance. Menu's are available in a file at reception. The dining room is always set and you are welcome to enjoy take away meals in the comfort of the dining room.

We have one self catering room - The Garden room. We also have a spare micro wave oven and toaster that can be added to rooms on request to make longer stays more comfortable.

BUSINESS CENTRE

We have a fully equipped Business Centre with ADSL point in our office. Wire-less wi-fi throughout the house and rooms. Guest computer in the lounge.

For the fitness fanatics who cannot live without exercise we are walking distance from Virgin Active gym and The South Africa Sports Science Institute. Or you can take a walk or run in the Newlands Forest or Village.

SECURE PARKING

We have 1 double garage which is offered to guests on a first request basis. We offer "on the street parking" which is very safe as cars are monitored by ATD Security Company 24 hours a day.

LAUNDRY SERVICE

We have a same day service, weather permitting. We offer a dry cleaning drop off and collection service.
